Fletched Mixed Carbon Arrows

Brian was my customer service agent, all I can say is the man deserves a raise. The bow is beautiful and shoots as smooth as butter. My only concern was the string was dry as a bone, to the point where I was afraid to string the bow with it, I didn't have any string wax. I got in touch with Brian about the problem. He told me, don't worry I'll take care of you. A week later I came home and found a package on my steps containing the rest of my outfit plus a new well waxed Flemish twist string, I think it's made of D-97 material. And a tube of string wax. Going above and beyond what he had to, to make a happy return customer. The tab was single layer pig skin grippy on the finger side, and scraped soft as calf hair on the string side, for a very smooth release. I have another tab sold by an American company, it is calf hair and triple layer. Both have their pros and cons but, I have to say I prefer the single layer tab from hunting door. The bow and carbon arrows are well matched and accurate. Hunting Door .com has become my "go to" supplier for traditional archery supplies. I was looking for a short longbow. I really wanted to order a custom bow but didn’t know if I would like it or not. Figured this one would at least let me know what direction I wanted to go. You either hate or love short bows. I love this one so much I’m ordering another one. I should note that I have a shorter draw length. So stacking doesn’t bother me. I did upgrade the string and add a wrap to the grip area. In my opinion I love this bow and at this price it has become my favorite bow. Have already harvested 2 deer this season.

Can't bet the price and perform better than arrows that cost twice as much. Broadheads were a bonus. Target tips and broadheads followed the same trajectory.

Excellent set of 12 arrows. Shipping took some time but communication about it was very open and clear. A few strings wrapping the fletching were loose and needed glueing but did not affect overall quality
